Contract Manager Power Plant Construction (m/f)
Location: Germany
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Take responsibility as a commercial project manager for 400 - 800 MW CCGT construction projects
Support and recommend the construction project management team on all contractual, commercial and project payment issues related to contracts with external partners and suppliers.
Contract, claim and cost control management of large scale construction projects.
Project budgeting and cash-flow modelling, controlling and monitoring
Identification and implementation of countermeasures for budget variances in cooperation with financing department.
Advice all non-commercial units/departments concerning commercial, contractual and risk management issues.
Responsible for the support of the Project Development Team with respect to internal commercial processes like business case calculations and cost control.
Profile:
Technical / commercial university degree or alternatively relevant experience in lieu
Solid experience in responsible commercial and contractual management of large scale construction projects
Knowledge in budgeting and staff management in an international environment
Strong negotiation and presentation skills with excellent communication skills in English and German
Comfortable with working in a rapidly changing and demanding environment
